Job Description

Wells Fargo Wholesale Banking Technology is seeking an Application Integration Engineer (ASE4), whose core responsibility is performing design and development tasks in ASP.Net with C# and SQL Server for our Treasury Management Revenue pricing tool application. We are adding new functionality and enhancements of various complexities to the existing application.

In this role, the selected Application Engineer will focus heavily on user interface development, as well as integration with other applications. The Engineer will work closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements and participate in efficient development, delivery and deployment. Collaborates with technical staff, business users, and other project team members to ensure delivery of quality solutions that meet the business needs, perform efficiently, and have minimal defects. Participates in efficient development, delivery and deployment. This includes analysis, design, development, unit testing, and quality assurance throughout the entire software development life cycle.

Other duties may include:

  • Assuring security and compliance requirements are met.
  • Proactively recommend system efficiencies.
  • Verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
  • Oversee overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the application to line-of-business users.
  • May provide coding direction to less experienced staff and develops highly complex original code.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of ASP.Net experience
  • 5+ years of C# experience
  • 5+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience



Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of defect tracking tool experience
  • 2+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
  • 2+ years of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
  • BS/BA in computer science, applied statistics, quantitative economics, operations research or a related field
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio 2015 or greater
  • Experience using Quality Center / ALM as a defect tracking tool
  • Familiarity working with version control systems (Subversion)
  • Ability to work with teams across multiple locations and time zones
  • Experience with deployment frameworks such as AntillPro
  • Knowledge of Wholesale financial applications, especially Treasury pricing or Account Analysis is a plus
  • Experience in SQL Server design
