Job Summary:


Responsible for assisting and training both MDM analysts and end users at all levels up to and including executives in the operation and configuration of devices and/or services provided, as well as troubleshoot as necessary within the scope determined by the needs of the organization. This position will also create, maintain, and manage documentation for both technical staff and end users as necessary. Must collaborate with other teams, both technical and non-technical, to determine their mobility needs and meet them appropriately. The MDM Engineer will serve as Level 3 support for escalations and issues for all mobile devices and MDM related functions.


Responsibilities include (but not limited to):



  • Develops, coordinates, and oversees the training of customers in the operation and configuration of corporate and personally owned mobile devices regarding mobile services.
  • Designs and oversees published documentation and training material repository for mobility team, and end users
  • Researches products and designs new mobile solutions including testing and certification while adhering to department standard
  • Researches and designs solutions for important security and functional updates in mobile operating systems and our mobile device management software
  • Presents and participates in informational briefings related to mobile technologies to management and customers at all levels of organization.
  • Plans and oversees the deployment of the mobile platform as appropriate whether in a new project or assisting with existing devices in the field, regardless of a device's status as personally- or corporate-owned
  • Administration of Mobile Device Management portals including: AirWatch, Intune, MaaS360, Verizon, ATT, Expense Management, Apple DEP/VPP/Developer
  • Works independently to prioritize work that provides resolution to Service Desk cases within established service level agreements, appropriately escalating unresolved issues


Desired experience:



  • 5+ years strong experience in a service-oriented environment.
  • Must have working knowledge of the latest versions of Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, enterprise networking, client-server computing, wireless technologies, Mobile Device Management solutions, and mobile devices.
  • Applicants must have strong lateral thinking and interpersonal communication skills.


Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. MS/Apple/Networking certs a plus.
