Enterprise Messaging & Collaboration provides messaging-related functionality to Wells Fargo, including email, unified communications, email encryption, and mail routing services. EM&C strives to provide a high availability messaging environment to the e enterprise, and has a significant impact to the enterprise.. The purpose of the role is to provide senior technical experience and guidance for enterprise-impacting initiatives.

  • Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs
  • Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs, writes technical specifications and redesigns complex messaging monitoring and validation applications
  • Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
  • Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production
  • Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides
  • Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and escalates issues to appropriate persons as needed
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements will be met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

Full time salaried position with a typical 40 hours per week schedule.

No regularly scheduled travel is required however occasional travel may occur.

Work environment is very geographically distributed so will need to be able to collaborate and work effectively with people in that work in different physical locations and time zones.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Windows Server implementation experience including operating systems analysis, operating systems engineering or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of system or application engineering experience
  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience with system/application monitoring systems such as SCOM,eNow
  • 3+ years experience deploying solutions for a scalable, mission critical enterprise-level environments (>100,000 users)
  • 3+ years experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • 2+ years of engineering level experience with electronic messaging systems such as email or unified communications systems
  • Previous experience utilizing PowerShell, Bash, Perl, and/or Python to automate complex manual tasks
  • Proven ability to interact with business users and define technical specifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated to see and find efficient and cost effective opportunities for change
  • Must be flexible and thrive in challenging situations. The ability to adapt to change quickly and adjust work in a positive, professional manner
  • The ability to partner well with various other IT organziations and navigate those processes required to get things done
