  • Mentor your direct report, encourage and identify opportunities for their growth
  • Identify and cultivate additional business opportunities with existing clients
  • Manage and scope team deliverables, set priorities, and direct the UX team to ensure project work is done on time and on budget
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, manage resource capacity, timesheets, recruit UX talent
  • Join us on new business pitches and provide thought leadership in the form of blog content, speaking opportunities, webinars, research

Job Skills:

  • 5-10 years proven experience creating prototypes and highly detailed wireframes for complex user flows on web and mobile for public-facing websites including e-commerce
  • Experience developing UX architecture for large content sites (10,000+ pages)
  • Solid experience guiding and conducting user research and usability testing
  • Ability to understand detailed user, content and functional requirements and translate technical requirements into best-in-class, engaging interfaces.
  • Hands-on UX skills: card sorting, tree testing, persona development, gathering user requirements, creating user flows, ethnography, customer journey mapping, etc.
  • Expertise in iterative user-centered design, design-thinking methodologies, current UX trends and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to present complex UX ideas clearly to our clients
  • Clients just fall in love with you <3
  • Experience managing and team building, mentoring and developing people
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, efficiently and demonstrate action in a fast-paced, tight design schedule, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Eagerness for innovation and taking UX further (explore AI, machine learning)
  • Strong writing skills and POV for UX thought leadership
  • Can-do, I'll figure it out, driven, positive, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Growth mindset
  • UX software experience (Axure, InVision, Morae, etc.)
  • Agency experience tracking your hours, working within scope, successfully completing multiple diverse deliverables on time
