Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees information systems function for a site, system, or special initiative.
  • Manages multiple cost centers and/or plan of record projects;
  • delivers and supports software system solutions that support the operations of their functional areas.
  • Manages at least a single application (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity).
  • Evaluates all directives, change orders, and projects as to their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance.
  • Oversees and implements new subsystems, procedures and techniques; manages implementation/integration projects to ensure deliverables.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Looking for a results-oriented Senior Leader with a background in building and maturing a portfolio management capability. This person should be highly organized and collaborative leader and facilitator, who uses strong communication skills to maintain a focus on the attainment of organizational goals in high-performance cultures. A resourceful problem-solver, with a proven reputation for delivering results on time and under budget.

  • Apply systematic management to large classes of enterprise Information Technology (IT) capabilities to quantify, measure, and evaluate IT efforts against strategic goals and objectives
  • Establish, manage, and update IT portfolio management processes
  • Provide technical assistance to investment and decision support functions, and provide recommendations for resource allocation to improve alignment with strategies and goals
  • Conduct performance management analysis and decision support that realizes routine investment performance (e.g., cost, schedule, and performance) against planned accomplishments through coordinated program reviews with program stakeholders
  • Draft portfolio-level and program-level planning guidance input, and coordinate input with stakeholders.

Requires a BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field; 5+ years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including 3+ years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership skills and excellent people management skills, exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience in building tactical actionable plans and bringing business and IT teams together in partnership to implement these plans and drive to defined outcomes.
  • Experience in Project Portfolio Management / PMBOK methodologies and ITIL Service Management model, and Agile / Scrum / SAFe.
  • Experience partnering with Senior Leadership in ongoing Portfolio prioritization - in alignment to IT and Corp Strategy
  • Experience developing Portfolio Dashboards and performance metrics for Senior Management.
  • Experience Establishing a governance structure for oversight for Enterprise Portfolio of Programs and Projects
  • Experience managing and developing a team of portfolio managers
