IT Support Administrator

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


- Serve as the primary contact in providing customer service and technical support to internal company end users and stakeholders


- Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, and accurately documents various technical problems and resolutions (i.e. software, hardware and company specific applications)


- Set up and maintenance of workstations (desktop and laptop), printers, and printing services


- Provide Network/Application troubleshooting experience.


- Provide networking configuration troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP).


- Provide wireless network troubleshooting skills


- Administration of Microsoft Exchange 365


- Supporting remote employees with remote access tools/VPN


- Work closely with Network administrator to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues


- Lead and assist with IT projects including new IT system implementations and upgrades


- Provide support and administration for various IT systems including Airport specific IT systems.


- Design, build and/or test new systems, processes or services


- Provide VOIP support


- Perform new user IT training and communication of IT policies and standards


- Maintaining hardware/software inventories and financial tools


- Logging support tickets efficiently and with appropriate sense of urgency, updating tickets and following up with end-users


- Apply analytical skills to solve complex technical problems and recommend alternatives


- Effectively communicate complex technical issues both orally and in writing


- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and good customer service May 2017


Education and Experience:


- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3 years' experience or 5 years' experience without a degree.


- At least 3 years of proven experience in a support administrator role


- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of IT infrastructure.

- Solid project management and time management skills with the ability to balance and prioritize workload and multiple projects


- Ability to lift and carry computer components up to 50 pounds
