job summary:

The selected candidate will work as a member of the Information Technology (IT) Program Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for coordinating the execution of the IT components for the merger which includes assuming responsibility for the newly acquired Liquefied Natural Gas facility project.

Project Specific Role:

The company's current Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) organization will be assuming direct control of the workforce at the newly acquired LNG facility.

Due to the nature of the former company's operational tenure, many aspects of the facility are configured to support entirely separate operational activities, and may not necessarily be available, directly transferable, or applicable to operations under our company.

The physical facilities, policies, procedures, regulations, compliance activities, accounting, and fixed assets must be reviewed for gaps and compatibility, such that we can take full operational control of the LNG facility by 9/30/2020.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating delivery of the IT components in support of a seamless, safe, and orderly facility transition, zero interruption to a continuous 24/7-365 operation, and the care, custody, and workforce control of LNG facility.

The IT Project Manager will manage business and technical resources, consultants and vendors contracted to deliver solutions.

The IT Components within this project are:

1. To ensure that LNG facility has a fully functional, compliant and secure IT Network system that satisfies all related facility operational needs at all physical locations needed.

2. To Establish the long term Distributed Control System (DCS) Support strategy

3. To Specify, purchase, implement, and maintain Data Historian, Compliance Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) systems that potentially can be extended to other current and future LNG facilities within the company.

4. Coordinate the IT changes and solutions to co-exist with systems that allow current owning company to finish their contractual obligations during the transitions period

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budget maintenance and forecasting, reporting project status at Steering Committee meetings, identifying and mitigating risks and issues, and successfully leading the team to accomplish all deliverables on time, on scope and on budget.

Candidate must have previous experience with or management of:

IT operations of an LNG organization,

IT Security Infrastructure

Other Requirements

The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience successfully managing projects with multiple interdependent vendors and be able to cite practical examples of this including example deliverables.

Candidate must have experience with the MS project scheduling tools.

The successful candidate must be a high energy, detail oriented individual who will demonstrate: high caliber communication, leadership and people skills; strong organizational skills; and the ability to successfully initiate, track, report and close projects.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse groups, including stakeholders, sponsors, leads, vendors, other project managers, and technical staff; a strong process orientation including producing high quality documentation artifacts; and a sound working understanding of IT concepts and the IT design & delivery life cycle.

What Experience/Skills would you like the candidate to have, but is not required?
