Position Summary

Randstad Technologies is in search of an IT Asset Analyst for a client in the Orange County Market. The IT Asset Analyst supports the IT Asset Manager in the management of the physical, technological, contractual, and financial aspects of information technology assets. The role controls inventory that is purchased and used; reduces the cost of purchasing and managing assets; manages the asset life cycle from planning to disposal; achieves compliance with relevant standards and regulations; improves IT service to end users; and creates standards and processes for managing assets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Asset Life Cycle

- Conducts hardware and software audits.

- Understands software agreements and on-boards new software titles to the ITAM process.

- Communicates with stakeholders to maintain ITAM standards.

- Performs ITAM reporting on a regular schedule or ad hoc as needed.

- Provides recommendations to enhance and continuously improve ITAM.

Request and Procurement

- Co-ordinates with hardware and software deployment teams to ensure accurate and timely asset registration.

- Maintain available hardware and software inventory and creates/updates records in ITAM repository.

- Works with IT and Finance stakeholders to correctly execute ITAM procedures

Vendor Audit and License Compliance

- Conducts contract, license, and vendor service compliance audits and ensures contractual data and deliverables are up-to-date in the system.

- Reviews compliance summary, validates compliance report, and runs vendor approval scans.

Hardware Disposal

- Supports the evaluation as to whether hardware should be re-used or retired

- Ensures retired hardware is fully removed from the environment and returned to the ITAM repository or disposed.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

- Good knowledge of IT asset management

- Good knowledge of the core business processes

- Good knowledge of ServiceNow Asset Management application

- Familiar with IT Configuration, IT Financial Management and Vendor Management processes

- Good knowledge of reporting discipline

- Strong organizational skills

- Strong customer service skills

- Strong communication skills

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Excellent collaboration skills and able to work in a team environment

- Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related equivalent IT field preferred

- CITAM certification preferred

- At least 2 years of experience working in large or federated enterprises

- At least 2 years of experience in regulatory environment

- Cross-functional experience working in multiple divisions that may not be similarly regulated

Minimum Qualifications

- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
