Your Role and Responsibilities
An Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Candidates must be comfortable working in a team selling environment with primary tasks being pipeline build, lead development, and running full sales cycle activities. Daily task includes making many outbound of calls, identifying and contacting segmented targets on professional social networking platforms such as LinkedIn, generating interest, qualifying prospects, as well as running sales plays when appropriate including account based marketing campaigns. Candidates will preferably have proven inside sales and/or lead development experience, qualifications to degree level and speak more than one European language including excellent English.

Operate in a team selling environment
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate [New Business Account Executive] for further development and closure
Achieve quarterly quotas for both qualified leads passed
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand a database of prospects within assigned territory
Team with Account Executive and Channel Business Partner Rep to build pipeline and close deals


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You will be a respected inside sales professional with experience in, inside sales within the IT industry:

Excellent business English language skills (written and verbal)
Experience with inside sales and/or lead development experience with a proven track record of success
Experience finding and qualifying SaaS opportunities
Ability to assess customer business needs and determine solution fit
Ability to work collaboratively with [New Business Sales Account Executive] and 3rd party Channel Business Partners


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience of working for/with leading Marketing Technology company
Substantial experience with inside sales and/or lead development experience with a proven track record of success
Experience finding and qualifying Marketing Technology SaaS opportunities
Business level Languages: French, German or Italian

Location Statement
This IBM role is for a fixed term. The role is for the exclusive support of the Acoustic Marketing product portfolio formerly known as the Watson Marketing portfolio, and part of the Watson Customer Engagement (WCE) business unit. The Acoustic products are part of the business divestiture announced in April 2019 between IBM and Centerbridge, which has closed in the US in July 2019 and is due to close in Europe in 1H 2020. This role will terminate 30th June 2020 or if earlier the date the business divestiture closes in Europe. Centerbridge has set up new legal entities in Europe for the divested business called Acoustic. Acoustic will provide you with an offer of employment at the end of your fixed term contract with IBM. Your employment with IBM will terminate at the end of your fixed term contract with IBM regardless of whether you accept a position with Acoustic.
