Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargos more than 70 million global customers.

Provides information security data subject matter expertise and maintains information security metric master data to deliver critical information security reports to business partners. Responsible for implementation of Policy adherence road map and updating leadership on the ongoing activities of the road map. Evaluates data requirements and assists in creation and refinement of user stories. Researches and tracks new industry best practices in monitoring and reporting information security risks and suggests metric and process enhancements. Responsible for metadata analysis and recommend data models for migrating source data from disparate systems into a single big data environment. Able to recommend simplified data models. This role is a blend of information security and data analysis skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing highly complex activities related to business analysis and/or modeling. Responsible for senior level consulting partnerships including delivery of findings and recommendations. Duties typically include providing insights, developing analytical strategies, performing analytical support and/or modeling regarding a wide array of business initiatives. This job requires application of analytical, statistical modeling, stochastic and/or forecasting methods. Designs and leads some of the most complex projects/ analyses, generally spanning multiple products/business lines/functional areas/data sources and may involve extremely complex analytical application of industry-leading experimental techniques or exploratory data analytics. Typically focus on the theory and/or advanced mathematics behind the analyses. Applies knowledge of business, customers, and/or products/services/portfolios to synthesize data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective. Data involved typically very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources. To a certain degree, may be involved directly in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or advanced data visualization. Leads project/virtual teams & mentors lower level staff. Experience in design and implementation of Data controls in a manual and automated environment. Experience in leading/defining requirements of Manual to automation of data environments.

Serves as the highest level of information and cyber security data consultant to all internal clients and technical management in all areas of the business to ensure conformity with enterprise data standards.

Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in analytics, modeling or a combination of both; or a PhD in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 7+ years of experience in analytics, modeling, or a combination of both1+ year of information security log management system experience3+ years of Information Security reporting and analysis experience3+ years of information security experience

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and KanbanHadoop experience
