Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk.We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargos infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws.EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

The Enterprise Information Security division has one opening within the Enterprise Access Management group for an Information Security Manager 4 to manage the operational readiness and change control activities for access management applications and systems. The primary responsibilities of this position will be the daily monitoring of tools and technology for outages and functional readiness and the return to operational state after implementations and upgrades. This position provides leadership and decision-making for a highly technical organization, which is responsible for the controls, problem resolution, enforcement of security policies/standards/risk controls, monitoring of new solutions and technologies, as well as tier 3 support for systems and applications used by the access management team. Responsible for monitoring tools and solutions and processes used to mitigate risk and ensure the security of data. This position will work collaboratively with other managers within the Enterprise to continually increase the efficiency of tools, change management, operational readiness processes and quality of service for our provisioning partners.

This position also works to ensure staffing is adequate for shifts in work, volume fluctuations and new business. This position includes performance management activities, including staff coaching/training/development.Administers budget, operating policies, and planning for the department. Has a broad awareness of the state of information security across the enterprise and industry and influences change to information security policy, standards and procedures for systems/applications/tools. May represent the organization to external partners, including regulators, industry groups and governmental agencies.

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks
  • Required Qualifications

    10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: information security, IT systems security or technology experience with 4+ years direct experience in information security5+ years of management experience, in an Information Security or IT environment

    Desired Qualifications

    5+ years of experience managing large information security functionsExperience managing a technology infrastructure function, application or information security function that has impact across the enterpriseExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to effectively influence and interact with all levels of an organizationAbility to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and managementAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importantAbility to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locationsVirtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environmentKnowledge and understanding of implementation coordination and management of: resources, tasks and budgetsStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

    Other Desired Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Identity & Access Management, (IAM) functions and processes Proven experience in executing improvements to service and ensuring SLAs are meet Active Info Security certifications (Examples: CISSP, CISM, CISA) Bachelors degree in Computer Science Job Expectations

    Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
