Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk.We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Note: This position can sit in any core Wells Fargo location or telecommute.

The role is an ISA4 for the Security Remediation Team (SRT) operating within the Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring service. This is a broad technology hygiene service actively involved in the identification, tracking, and remediation of technology defects as discovered by SRT and all of Enterprise Information Security during normal operations.

An Info Sec Engineer 4 (ISA4) in this role must understand a very broad range of technologies and be able to rapidly assess observed defects for severity and impact in order to prioritize remediation efforts. He or she must also be able to effectively convey an observed defect to a wide audience, and coordinate the resolution of the defects identified.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of information security administration experience
  • 3 + years of experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Information Security technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Windows OS administration
  • Knowledge and understanding of security configuration management including: linking security policy with security configuration
  • Knowledge and understanding of network security and network protocols
  • Knowledge and understanding of vulnerability identification and remediation
  • System vulnerability detection and mitigation experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security industry standards and government regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution

Other Desired Qualifications

3+ years data analytics and system analysis experience
1 + SIEM experience (Splunk experience preferred)
Event monitoring, experience designing and managing Splunk dashboards, reports, lookup tables and summary indexes. Regular expression experience as well.
Proficient working with system, network, and application vulnerability remediation and/or technical policy compliance;
