Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the updating and maintenance of information in support of RBAC.
  • Works with general supervision, but must be able to function independently.
  • Report on individual metrics and project status.
  • Perform work on tickets in RBAC queue for role maintenance; owner updates and necessary changes related to Access Management.
  • Provides assistance to system users relative to RBAC information systems security matters.
  • Acts as an analyst working with business areas across the enterprise to gather requirements, build, rollout and maintain role based access providing hands on technical expertise.

- Participates in small RBAC related project activities for enterprise projects and performs technical RBAC work.

- Provides input for continuous improvement.

- Understands security administration functions working with our provisioning tools to support the building and maintenance of roles.

- Provides support to project teams across the enterprise pertaining to RBAC, security administration and systems operations.

- Communicates clearly with multiple levels of people across the organization.

  • Role-Based Access Control Knowledge. Understands how to maintain RBAC roles. Skills required include the ability to provision roles across multiple operating systems platforms, as well as applications. In doing this the candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Technical knowledge in multiple key platforms including Active Directory, ACF2, Unix, Tivoli Identity Manager, and RSA Access Management.

- Employee must be able to analyze basic technical problems, break them down into manageable chunks and do it independently with minimal supervision.

- Data Analysis and Data Mining - Employee should be skilled and analytical in order to analyze a large amount of data and come to conclusions.

- Understanding of IT Security concepts with focus on Identity and Access Management.

- Detail oriented and strong analytical skills

- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and customer service skills



  • Several years related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Several years Security Administration experience.
  • Able to manage project tasks from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical, communication, technical, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to foster working relationships with the team and external departments.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented and quality focused.
  • Ability to present analysis and findings in business context.
  • Role Based Access Control experience is desired.


Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at least six typically ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
