EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Note: Charlotte, NC is the preferred work location but will consider other core Wells Fargo locations and telecommute

The Application Onboarding Manager leads a team of direct and matrixed contributors in migrating applications to target state access management tools, using a factory approach with standard phases for application discovery, qualification, planning, design, development, and testing. The position involves regular interactions with executive leadership and business-aligned access management leaders and stakeholders.

Key Job Responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure that objectives for onboarding applications to the Identity & Access Management Enterprise Solution (IES) using the Rapid Onboarding Model (ROM) are met
    • Work with key stakeholder groups
      • Enterprise Risk Management Technology leaders and application teams
      • Line of business contacts
      • Enterprise Access Management control owners
    • Facilitate resolution of process and technical onboarding issues
    • Track and drive progress against committed dates and volumes
  • Accountable as the process owner for onboarding applications to the Identity & Access Management Enterprise Solution (IES)
    • Own and improve process, tools, documents, and artifacts
    • Ensure onboarding controls are executed
    • Serve as point of contact for validation activities
  • Lead team of information security analysts facilitating ROM application onboarding
  • Contribute to:
    • Identifying solution gaps and improvement opportunities
    • Improving/standardizing processes for onboarding to other EAM standard tools
    • Non-ROM onboarding events


Required Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: information security, IT systems security or technology experience including 3+ years direct experience in information security
  • 3+ years of management experience, in an Information Security or IT environment
  • 7 + years of access management experience in one or more of the following: provisioning, de-provisioning, certification, authorization or authentication.
  • 2+ years of experience managing Identity and Access Management or Information Security related projects



Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing large information security functions
  • Experience managing a technology infrastructure function, application or information security function that has impact across the enterprise
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively influence and interact with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of control standards/solutions and technical baselines
  • Audit or internal controls testing experience
  • OIG (Oracle Identity Governance) suite experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development in a banking environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Solid conflict management and decision making skills
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in identity and access management implementation and integration
  • Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Secure SDLC and integration of vulnerability scanning with Secure SDLC framework
