EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Description:

Act as the technical team lead in the Channel Secure Operations team. This involves operational support of the production and non-production infrastructure for Channel Secure related services like SiteMinder, IDFC, ADFS and LDAP. Assisting other operations engineers during a wide-range of production deployment activities related to these services and troubleshooting issues with the integration work as they may arise. The position will often require providing feedback and guidance of infrastructure design, deployment, routine upgrades and on-going maintenance activities in order to ensure services can be adequately maintained from an operational perspective and implemented without impact to customer activities. Analysis of the current infrastructure capacity, load testing services to understand optimal environment configurations, and providing regular feedback of metrics for capacity planning will be regular activities. The individual will frequently work with customers of Channel Secure related services to assist with their web and application server infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting, and performance. Periodically, the position will also require feedback for audit related activities, field-work and remediation efforts. The position will often provide on-call support and escalation for resolving production issues and addressing customer questions and concerns related to incidents and root cause analysis follow-up reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 5+ years of systems vulnerability management experience
  • 5 + years of experience communicating system vulnerabilities and remediation guidance to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • 5+ years of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) experience
  • 7+ years of CA Siteminder experience
  • 7+ years of IIS experience
  • 5+ years of Apache experience
  • 2+ years of experience writing and editing internal communications in a corporate environment
  • 2+ years of presenter experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies, including Information Security Frameworks, Standards, and best practices
  • Ability to manage highly complex issues and negotiate solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization; including at the executive level
  • 2+ years of experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Tomcat
  • Experience with Active Directory Federation Services.
  • Working knowledge of CA AuthMinder/RiskMinder.
  • Working knowledge of various LDAP products ranging from Active Directory, Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition, Ping, to CA Directory.


Job Expectations

  • Ability to work on call as assigned
  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
