EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented, reward-driven individual capable of working within a team of 4 or more experience Unix/Linux engineers. This team is responsible for the design, build, and support of windows servers running security-focused applications. This position would include the following:

  • Daily support in the areas of Unix/Linux security as it relates to servers in security-focused servers within EIS.
  • Management of ERIMS-Unix projects related to Unix/Linux servers.
  • Development of new processes and strategies to strengthen the security profile of ERIMS-Unix supported servers.

A successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Ability to multi-task and deliver successful results on time.
  • Great problem solving skills.
  • A broad understanding of multiple technologies and how they work together.
  • Networking, windows, and ESX experience.
  • Ability to work within short deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 7+ years of information technology experience
  • 3+ years of virtualization technologies experience
  • 1+ year of Python experience
  • 1+ year of Perl or Shell experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Qualys vulnerability reporting
  • 2 + years of experience with Veritas, including VxFS (Veritas File System) and VCS (Veritas Cluster Server)
  • 1+ year of Remedy experience
  • 3+ years of financial industry experience
  • 1+ year of workload automation tool experience
  • 3+ years of experience with server virtualization technology including: VMware, LPAR, and LDOM
  • 2+ years of experience supporting servers running information security applications including: FoxT BoKS, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • 6+ years of Unix/Linux Systems Administration experience with in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, OS hardening and OS tuning

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Information Security technical skills
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • In depth knowledge working with Server Automation tools like HPSA to stage and run software policy
  • Some type of Information Security Certification including GCEC, CISSP
  • Experience with notification tools like Netcool
  • Red Hat Certified System Engineer (RHCE) or Administrator (RHCS)
  • experience with automated tool such as Ansible
