Enterprise Information Securitys (EIS) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargos infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Description:

Provides technical support for moderately complex security-related issues. Assists Senior Staff with security consulting and moderately complex security projects related to data access, integrity, confidentiality and business continuity. Assists customers in identifying security risks to their applications. Participates in the evaluation and implementation of emerging data access control technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards and techniques. Maintains a familiarity with bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security. Provides training and assistance for installed security products and may and may assist in the delivery of security awareness programs. May provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Position will execute Network Security compliance processes (log reviews and device configuration compliance). Will review and recommend policies and control standards which affect Network Security. Most common job functions are broken down as follows:

  • Analyze Network Security's compliance with corporate policies and control standards as well as external regulatory or legal requirements. Working with capability owners and Network Security management to define risks associated with identified gaps. Consulting with capability owners and solution providers to help determine optimal solutions to close gaps in compliance
  • Provides customers with assistance concerning routine matters. Gathers business issues/requirements and implements standard solutions to mitigate security issues.
  • Implements standards/guidelines/procedures evaluated and developed by others. Documents implementation of security procedures. Provides general input when requested or on a standard basis.
  • Tracks and reports on status for assigned compliance check tasks.
  • Provides various other shared services tasks, as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of information security administration experience
  • 1+ year of Network experience
  • 1+ year of process definition and documentation experience
  • 1+ year of compliance experience
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of network and firewall operations
  • Knowledge and understanding of network security and network protocols
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of UNIX
  • Knowledge and understanding of Splunk
  • SQL experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Linux

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with inventory management
  • Prior work experience partnering with automation teams to optimize process/procedures
  • Understanding of network principles (IPV4, TCP, UDP, ICMP);
