EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

Job Description

Participates in the evaluation, development, and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments. Participates in the evaluation, development, testing and implementation of emerging data access control technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards and techniques. Provides security consulting and project management services on complex issues related to encryption key management. Assists customers in identifying security risks to their applications and implementing appropriate data security procedures and products. Maintains an awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security. Provide guidance to less experienced staff.

  • Provides technical support for moderately complex security-related issues.
    • Support TAG & MyID client configurations, known issues and system conflicts and provide support for TAG and MyID clients and testing during the onboarding process.
  • Assists Senior Staff with security consulting and moderately complex security projects related to data access, integrity, confidentiality and business continuity.
    • Provide general recommendations of Trusted Access products and services to lines of business seeking security controls that address access risks. Understand which products and services to recommend based on the requirements provided by the line of business. Assist with documenting and facilitating information gathering for Trusted Access onboarding requests.
  • Assists customers in identifying security risks to their applications.
    • Evaluate application data classifications and criticality models to determine level of authentication requirements. Understand and identify application access use cases, and address information security risks for complex applications with multiple access points.
    • Identify applications for potential integration with TAG or other Trusted Access products & services.
  • Participates in the evaluation and implementation of emerging data access control technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards and techniques.
    • Provide integration support and act as an advocate for application and system owners during a security onboarding process, and help gather requirements for future Trusted Access products and services based on business needs and security concerns.
  • Maintains a familiarity with bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security.
    • Ensure solutions offered to application owners are compliant with security policy control standards and baselines as documented in Policyworks for their specific business needs.
  • Provides training and assistance for installed security products and may and may assist in the delivery of security awareness programs.
    • Provide first-time training for newly onboarded application owners and SMEs, and create or update training materials necessary for successful implementation of Trusted Access products & services.
  • May provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of information security administration experience
  • 1+ year of large scale networked smart card technology systems for physical access control experience
  • 1 + years of access management experience in one or more of the following: provisioning, de-provisioning, certification, authorization or authentication.
  • 1+ year of authentication tools experience
  • 1+ year of Information Security reporting and analysis experience
  • 3+ years of technical documentation and publication experience
  • 1+ year of web applications experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with information security controls and deployments in a production environment
  • 1+ year application security vulnerability detection and mitigation experience
  • 1+ years of experience testing end user applications and technology products

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
