Description


Randstad Technologies is searching for Federal Security Engineers (Incident Response Security Engineers - Carbon Black) who are capable of joining a growing team of autonomous, experienced, self-driven security fanatics.


Our client's Federal Security Engineers are materially involved in the complete security technologies opportunity lifecycle, from pre-sales through delivery and have the freedom and control over how engagements are scoped and delivered.


Our client is looking for someone who strives to continually expand their knowledge and experience with the latest cutting-edge information security technologies.


Our client is dedicated to finding Federal Senior Security Engineers who have a burning desire to constantly expand their knowledge and better meet the needs of the client they're serving.


Responsibilities:



  • Help customer in their endpoint security strategy. Support customer meetings where customer and it's vendors engage in strategy discussions. Be a Carbon Black proponent in those meetings.
  • Support customer in their overall security strategy, understand how endpoint products can integrate with network security products, big data analytic products, etc.
  • Serve as a voice for the customer back into Carbon Black product and customer support organizations.



  • Manage and track all open service tickets.
  • Assist customer with any technical issues they may have by solving the issues or finding the right resources in Carbon Black to provide the solution or answers.
  • Support the customer in Cb Response query optimization initiatives.
  • Understand how analysts are using the product.
  • Recommend new approaches to customer.


Position Requirements:



  • Must be in the DC area.
  • Active SSBI clearance
  • Proficient programming in Python.
  • 3 to 5 years of Carbon Black Enterprise Protection and Carbon Black Enterprise Response experience. Knowledge must include hands-on administrative knowledge as well as analyst knowledge.
  • Must have at least 10 years cyber security experience or 5 years cyber security experience with an MS degree in related field.
  • Must have engaged in incident response/EDR activities using Carbon Black Enterprise Response or other similar products .
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills to ensure corporate follows up on deliverables for customer.
  • Window and Unix system administrator experience is a plus
  • Understanding of Carbon Black API as well as proficiency in a scripting language to develop integrations into customer security solutions.
  • GCIH, GCFA and CISSP certifications are a plus
