Job Description:

This leader is part of the Application Product Center of Excellences Application Product Lifecycle Management organization. This leader reports to the manager of the APCoE Implementation Manager. This leader will be responsible for managing a team of US Implementation Consultants, as well as, collaborating with and providing direction to EGS teams that support this work. This leader will manage the Desktop Implementation Management Services team whose mission is to actively facilitate, track and drive execution of remediation activities on desktop products governed by Application Product Center of Excellence. Assist impacted teams to deploy required patches, upgrades, configurations or removal of software to comply with established Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) standards by promoting standards and tools that enable the simplification of this process. Provides direction, leadership and resources to ensure successful implementation planning, solution preparation, delivery to the field, and measurement of complex and strategic initiatives. Initiatives may impact multiple lines of business. Establishes strategic implementation plans with project managers and executive sponsors that coordinate change activities, creatively solve problems and monitor sustained change to internal team members. Manages both direct and matrix resources whose functions include: development of plans, process impact and redesign, change management, communication, training, delivery, implementation financials and monitoring of performance of implemented solutions and continuously improve implementation capability. Interacts regularly with APCoE peer management, Team Member Technology Management, and other partners and should demonstrate influence and negotiation with them. May also be responsible to miscellaneous business administrative initiatives.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of implementation experience, business process experience, or a combination of both3+ years of management experience

  • Desktop and or Server Technical Infrastructure management experience
  • Desktop 3rd Party Application Support experience either via management of a vendor or as primary business owner of product Experience with Security/Vulnerability PatchingJob Expectations

    Ability to work additional hours as neededAbility to travel up to 10% of the timeAbility to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
