HST team (Hybid Service Technologies) is a team that is delivering automation capabilities for our clients. Patching automation, healtcheck, alerting en eventing automation are one of the key elements in this domain Standard problem & change control processes are followed.

Your day to day activities will include:

Management and responsibility for mailing systems of multiple clients:
Incident / Service Request management:
Assign incidents in IPC tool
Regularly document the progress of resolution
Document all available information in the resolution field for future analyze
Resolve the incident by using the correct resolution & service code
Involve Delivery Analyst in case of re-occurring incidents
Server and applications patching and update
Change execution:
Review and approve / reject assigned changes within one day since assignment
Review and approve / reject changes assigned to different teams where our team is an approval
Assign changes / tasks going to execute to ensure clear ownership
Prepare, execute and close the change (immediately after validating the result and with the appropriate code; latest in 2 working days)
Problem management:
Consolidate inputs from all involved teams & vendors to deliver complete analyze
Provide the RCA in SLA
Support other teams in case our services are involved in their RCAs
Projects support (both internal and client driven) based on guidance from Focal Point / Team Leader / Manager
Ensure proper handover when leaving to vacation including update in associated tools
Is fully responsible for all his / her accesses (request, regularly change the passwords...) to be able to support whole assigned scope
Other expected knowledge and ability needed:
Monitoring management
- Build, Operation, Administration and Configuration of the MONITORING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT Infrastructure
- Maintenance of the Software incl installation of patches and new releases - this covers basic Tivoli SW but also the on-top GSMA solutions
- Analyse of problems incl corrective actions
- Supporting CritSits with technical background, knowledge, data, etc
- Performance and Tuning of the related MONITORING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT infra
- Capacity Mgmt for the related MONITORING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT infra
- Plan, perform and supervision of changes incl risk and impact assessment
- Plan, implement and operate the needed interfaces - e.g. Ticketing, Dynamic Automation, Integration of 3rd party Monitoring, Interfaces to Clients
- Alignment of MONITORING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT infra to be compliant with evolving new standards, security requirements etc
- Related Compliance mgmt
- Audit Support
- Upgrade infrastructure
- participate in projects on this domain as technical expert



Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Scripting skills like Perl, Shell or other - developper skills
- Understanding of Event Mgmt process
- Skilled on OS (windows & Unix) , network topology and some experiences in databases
- Good understanding of Problem, Incident and Change Mgmt Process
- Keen to collaborate and communicate across boundaries and functions
- Ownership, accountability, reliability, motivated, eager to learn ....
- Stress resistent
- English


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
English Fluent
Any Technical Certifications
Sound understanding and working experience with Ipcenter
Sound understanding and working experience with using GSMA solutions
