The Federal Healthcare, HHS Account Leader is an Associate Partner that is directly accountable/responsible for successful sales and delivery of a Services Portfolio across HHS and it Operating Divisions (FDA, CDC, NIH, HRSA, etc). This Associate Partner will have direct responsibility for developing relationships at HHS and its Operating Divisions and will be expected to represent the IBM Global Business Services (GBS) and broader IBM solution portfolio at those assigned accounts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

Covering HHS and its Operating Divisions in an external focused business development capacity for consulting services

Leading pre-sales and business development activities and converting those opportunities into consulting projects

Establishing and maintaining deal focused trusted relationships with clients and partners to scope, solution, propose, close, and deliver GBS provide offerings

Business case development, business development, proposal writing and management

Pipeline development, identifying, qualifying and maturing through all phases of execution

Assisting in the growth and development of the HHS Account providing hands-on leadership and direction, contributing to the growth of intellectual capital in the industry and supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities

The successful candidate will have these qualities:

Business strategy and/or operational improvement background in the areas of commercial operations, finance, supply chain or Research & Development (R&D) functions.

Ability to initiate and support demand creation activities within existing and new accounts.

Provide overall leadership in the quality and execution of consulting engagements

Ability to manage multiple, complex sales and delivery engagements simultaneously, oversee large program teams, and collaborate cross-functionally

Strong communicator, ability to motivate teams (both internal and external) and build alignment around goals and objectives

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 10 years experience in working in the Federal Health Industry

At least 10 years experience in selling and delivering consulting services to HHS and its Operating Divisions

At least 5 years experience in functional and operational activities at HHS or one of its Operating Divisions

At least 5 years experience in a business development or consultative selling capacity/role

English: Fluent with Great Command

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

At least 15+ years experience in working in the Federal Health Ecosystem

At least 15+ years experience in selling and delivering consulting services to HHS and its Operating Divisions

At least 8 years experience in functional and operational activities at HHS or one of its Operating Divisions

At least 8 years experience in a business development or consultative selling capacity/role

Executive or Senior Leadership level experience at one or more HHS Operating Divisions

English: Fluent with Great Command
