job summary:

Our Client in Sandy Springs is currently seeking a Hardware Support Analyst to provide technical support to a number of hardware devices, but mainly Microsoft Surfaces. As a member of the Hardware Support Depot you will be responsible for troubleshooting student leaning devices (iPad, Surface 3, Latitude, Chromebook, others to follow). You will also be managing vendor relationships with our external support partners as well as our internal team members. Parts inventory and shipping to and from our vendors and schools will be a daily routine. Proper recordkeeping, keen attention to detail, timely responses to the school district needs will all be attributes of the successful candidate. Applicants must be very dependable and have an excellent attendance history.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support of Microsoft Surface devices. Minor repair, and sending parts back to Microsoft.
  • Maintain inventory at schools and Depot, and replenish when needed
  • Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose computer and tablet hardware failures
  • Replace and/or repair faulty components (tablet screens, keyboards)
  • Mentor students assigned to work/study programs on computer repair
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of laptops and tablets
  • Perform accurate data input of Service Desk tickets
  • Perform quality inspections for all completed processes

Job Requirements

  • Dell Certification - Preferred
  • Imaging Surface devices
  • Vendor Support
  • Laser Etcher experience (will teach)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Dependable Transportation
