Marketing Analyst


Looking for a Marketing Analyst to help achieve that goal. In this role, you will be responsible for translating data into insight and action in support of our data-driven strategy.


The ideal candidate has established skills using Google Analytics in a B2C ecommerce environment, and is now looking for the opportunity to broaden their analytics abilities. As a critical member of the analytics team, you will be the go-to authority on digital analytics.


You will look for opportunities to relate online data with offline and other data sources and drive advanced reporting to provide further insight and develop actionable recommendations with stakeholders.


Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics, you will partner with client Marketers to harness the power of data to improve decision making and effectiveness.


Responsibilities


Partner with Marketing stakeholders to understand business objectives, structure key questions, and define metrics and report/dashboard structure that support business needs


Deep understanding of Google Analytics; experience using segments, building custom reports, enhanced ecommerce, leveraging the API and/or Big Query for data extraction


Apply structured problem solving and hypothesis-driven thinking to move swiftly to insights


Build robust reporting solutions for enabling stakeholder self-service


Conduct appropriate follow-up analyses, which may be stakeholder-directed or self-directed


Articulate findings to internal stakeholders using strong written and verbal communication skills, and provide guidance and recommendations on appropriate next steps


Drive adoption and usage of reporting and metrics across the Marketing organization


Qualifications


Basic (Required)


Bachelor's degree


Minimum of 1 years of analytics experience


Strong Google Analytics experience


Structured problem solving skills


Exposure to an analytics programming language (R, Python, Scala)


Knowledge of relational databases, or willingness to learn


Ability to tell a clear story with data and translate to implications


Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations, tailored for audience


Strong communication and interpersonal skills


High performing, high energy self-starter, with ability to work both independently as well as a member of high performance-output teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment


Preferred


Knowledge of A/B testing or tag management a plus.


Strong technical aptitude


Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau


Statistical background, including the ability to explain statistical concepts to others
