Title: Front-End Developer
Location: Buffalo, NY or Rochester, NY
- Execute full lifecycle software development
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code on time and with high quality
- Collaborate with other programmers and team members to design and implement new features
- Review and debug existing source code
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Work independently when required
- Continuously learn and improve skills
Preferred Skills/Education:
- BA/BS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent required
- Three to five years related work experience.
- Proficiency with C# or other Object Oriented programming languages, with a strong emphasis on web services (WCF/Web API) and MVC.
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM Technologies
- Debugging and Problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
- Web development skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (or related frameworks)
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience using a modern source control software (TFS, Git, SVN)
- Experience with Agile methodologies (KanBan or Scrum)
- Possess excellent communication skills with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work productively in a team or independently
