The Public Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.

The Fire & Emergency Services Program Manager position coordinates, develops, and maintains Air Force Fire and Emergency Services (FES), Air Force Civil Engineering, AF Reserves, and Joint Doctrine governance and programmatic documents. Your duties will include:

  • Track and analyze compliance trends in Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) communicator/checklists related to Operational AFIs.
  • Provide senior-level perspective and inputs into the development of Air Force and Joint Service doctrine, policy, and guidance to codify Civil Engineer FES capabilities, roles, and responsibilities in concert with other Services across the full spectrum of operations (peace time to war time operations).
  • Ensure FES programs satisfy legally mandated federal requirements, executive orders, DoD directives and instructions by informing AF/A4C FES execution requiem.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Headquarters Air Staff strategy and policy development experience.
  • 15+ Years of Air Force Civil Engineer experience and graduate of the DoD Fire Protection School.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Analytical, communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships.




Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Strong aptitude to deconstruct, tackle, and communicate complex problems.
  • Able to self-teach new technical and non-technical concepts.
