POSITION SUMMARY the Financial Systems Analyst position designs, implements, administers, maintains, and supports the company financial systems e.g. Bottomline C-Series, Blackbaud, Oracle Financials, Trident, MIS, Cognos BI, EIS and Hyperion. The Financial System Analyst creates financial reports and thus must maintain a thorough understanding of the financial systems data model and financials. This position advises others on financial system data and inter-dependencies. Atop priority of this position/team is making sure independent contractor and vendor payments are processed timely and accurately.

  • Provide production support functions for the company financial systems.

    • First responder to incidents and requests - incident triage and communication

  • Ensure independent contractor and vendor payments are paid timely and accurately
  • Manage multiple issue/request queues
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise by clearly understanding business requirements, considering options, designing and specifying techno-functional solutions.
  • Identify and document functional requirements and system specifications considering performance, functionality, and extensibility and maintainability.
  • Participate in the development of improvements in existing Oracle and EIS reports and analysis.
  • Define and develop processes, interfaces and reports from Oracle financial application.
  • Develop and maintain functional and system documentation.
  • Provide end user training and support for the company Financial Systems and Reports.
  • Define and develop process improvements to streamline functions and processes.
  • Assist finance leaders in quarterly forecast and annual planning processes, ensuring leaders have support and visibility into the data.
  • Create CSeries and Blackbaud user and admin accounts
  • Troubleshoot check printer issues
  • Work on an agile team participating in various project initiatives including system and business driven process change projects, working effectively on multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Provide production support during and outside of core hours.


  • Three years' experience in a Financial Application Analyst role or equivalent
  • Three years' experience with SQL queries, with an emphasis on writing and modifying report code


  • Practiced finance/accounting, i.e. financial statement reconciliations, reporting, balance sheets, G/L
  • MS Office Suite, Oracle Financials, EIS, BottomLine C-Series skills, Oracle, SQLSrvr, PL/SQL
  • Ability to produce quality work that delivers value to the business; a track record of success
