WellsFargo first conducted business in Canada in 1854 and since then has continued to build a strong presence across the country. WellsFargo now offers a broad range of financial products and services through multiple lines of business operating throughout Canada.

The Financial Institutions Group is comprised of the Global Financial Institutions business from International Banking and the Financial Institutions business from Corporate Banking. The newly combined group will remain focused on existing customers while gaining synergies from being on the same team. The group will be strategically focused on relationships with U.S. banks, International Financial Institutions, Supranationals, Sovereigns and non-bank financial institutions to include insurance companies, broker dealers, asset managers, exchanges, finance companies, and title companies. The business will share a common business model that is focused on building long-term customer relationships, deepening those relationships through identifying and providing products which will help them succeed financially and adding new customers that fit the Financial Institutions and Wells Fargo risk profile. The Financial Institutions team is comprised of 835 team members across the globe.

This is a new opportunity to join the Financial Institutions Group as a Relationship Manager!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients in selected geographical area through proactive, strategic and consistent business development
  • Develops and executes business development (sales) and relationship plans
  • Responsible for partnering with internal groups to meet revenue targets
