Responsible for the management and operation of a centralized operations center consisting of a customer call center, building management technology center, and centralized service dispatch. This position will lead and coordinate the activities of all departmental trades, shop manages, technical resources to deliver optimized service solutions to our customers.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EJob Responsibilities:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EControls access of outside contractors and engineering consultants\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECoordinate call center, energy performance analysis, BMS alarm response, and technical support for operations staff\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ERespond to emergency calls during non-business hours, including on-site as deemed necessary, and recommends corrective measures\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEnsures that all work has the appropriate Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), Hot Work Permit, Above Ceiling Permit and or Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) required prior to commencing work\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDevelop, maintain and takes leadership position in JCAHO inspection, environment of care committees, utility plants, work groups and including maintenance requirements and efforts\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAssist in planning and development of the staff to be able to address current problems and anticipated future issues. Participates in departmental work planning and goal setting for the coordination of short-term work efforts and long term projects such as capital improvement\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EReceives, reviews, and evaluates all plant reports. Remains knowledgeable of status of all physical plant work including construction and prepares reports and maintains appropriate records\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDesigns and implements work flow processes and systems to enhance performance and institutional value\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECoordinates planned interruptions and plant services with affected administrators and departments.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EIn conjunction with the Director of Engineering, is responsible for all assigned functions critical to the facilities on a 24/7 basis\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EWill lead a team of operations managers and respective trade labor to ensure day to day operations and maintenance requirements are met, communicated, and properly measured and reported.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EResponsible for the effective, cost-efficient, and timely management of facilities functions as they pertain to day to day operations and maintenance management.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDevelop and implement the departmental policies, procedures, and performance metrics necessary to optimize the delivery of operations, maintenance, and construction activities and to effectively communicate these activities to our leadership and customers.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMinimum Qualifications:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003ETo qualify you must have:\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E1. Technical Bachelor\u0027s Degree or equivalent experience\u003Cbr /\u003E2. Demonstrated progressive growth in the field of health care facility maintenance and management \u003Cbr /\u003E3. Must have a minimum of 10 years of management experience with a minimum of 5 years of facilities hospital and union trade labor supervisory experience\u003Cbr /\u003E4. Must be familiar with Building Management Systems.\u003Cbr /\u003E5. Must be familiar with the use of computer maintenance management systems\u003Cbr /\u003E6. Computer proficiency with MS Office and Outlook email and calendar\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPreferred Qualifications:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E1. Mechanic Engineering Degree with Professional Engineering License\u003Cbr /\u003E2. Familiarity with all types of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. \u003Cbr /\u003E3. Should have experience with energy conservation programs, and utility distribution \u003Cbr /\u003E4.
