Enterprise Services Sales - Digital Imaging


Subject Matter Expert for Digital Imaging Services driving Business Process Services through the Off Site portfolio. Responsible for identifying business needs and positioning of Ricoh's BIS facilities, innovative technologies and third party providers as a compelling solutions provider. The BPSSDI must understand the customer/organization, digital workplace transformation and transactional document workflow. BPSSDI works directly with the ESS and Design teams to provide expertise within the Premium Services Portfolio.


  • Meets expected revenue quotas through increased customer share or net new business.
  • Consults the customer with a high degree of industry expertise and knowledge. Commits the necessary time in client meetings to be successful in forming executive level relationships.
  • Retains current customers, protects from competitive threats by keeping a high level of visibility, and balanced participation in IAR & QSMs.
  • Builds C Level customer relationships with business "influencers" throughout the customer organization.
  • Drives Digital Imaging Services, Digital Mail and Lease Administrative Services in both current customer base and ZBAs to expand total monthly billing. (no A/P, AR, Insurance Claims)
  • Participates in the RICOH RISE sales methodology.
  • Maintains current activities and opportunities pipeline in RISE.
  • Training -- Understands and incorporates the Ricoh "Key Value Areas" value proposition into every day talk track with clients.
  • Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside vendors. Routinely creates a helpful and positive work culture (in accordance with Ricoh's code of ethics).
  • Studies and researches to become highly knowledgeable of the portfolio (subject matter expert). Understands key applications for customers across industries.
  • Creates a base of client references to be leveraged in securing new account customers.
  • Selects the most beneficial strategy for the customer and bearing in mind any residual or financial risk to the organization. This includes enabling the customer to take advantage of current and future technology.
  • Works with the ESS and Design Teams to re-engineer the current document flow in an effort to streamline processes, remove redundancy, leverage technology and remove excess cost to the client.
  • Ensures that the strategy developed for customer addresses customer's key applications, providing a clear differentiation between Ricoh and competition.
  • Assists in the communication at the marketplace level. Work with the local marketplaces to drive revenue and gain efficiencies where possible.
  • Stays current with industry trends - periodicals, journals and industry organization participation.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor degree required, Master's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Must have 5-10 years selling and/or operations experience with a minimum of 3 years proven selling experience in Digital Imaging Services to high-level executives.
  • Successful track record in the management of Strategic and Enterprise level accounts.
  • Must have excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Must be experienced in setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives.
