Your Role and Responsibilities
Support IBMs Journey To Cloud growth-strategy and eable our clients to execute on development and operational strategies. Work with existing IBM and Red Hat clients by being an advocate for the top Enterprise-ready Kubernetes container platform in the industry. Collaborate with other IBM Sales teams to identify, progress and close Multi-Cloud Marketplace Platform transactions. Position the unique capabilities of the public and private catalog of containers that support a hybrid cloud strategy.

Promote Next Generation Multi-Cloud Marketplace Platform deployment for Enterprises
Present and explain the value of the Platform to the CIO, CTO and Procurement
Promote the value of the Multi-Cloud Marketplace for building cloud native applications and container management
Provide value propositions and industry based use cases on the value of the platform
Collaborate with the dedicated IBM client teams to identify opportunities for the Multi-Cloud Marketplace
Build high level cloud strategies for IBM clients as part of a consultative sales cycle
Create sales collateral to introduce clients to platform and help them get started
Drive identified opportunities through a defined sales process to closure
Identify Expansion and cross sell opportunities
Manage accounts to ensure lifetime value through deployment and renewal of any recurring revenue streams



Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Five years of experience in a quota carrying, solutions-sales role
  • One year of experience with a multi-cloud marketplace platform
  • Competitive knowledge of the container industry including Multi-Cloud Marketplace Platforms, Kubernetes, Docker



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Knowledge of IBM Enterprise Licensing Agreements (ELA) and contract negotiations
  • Experience managing high performing sales teams
  • Project management and leadership experience
  • Self-motivated decision maker with a history of recognizing opportunities to create and expand client base
