ERM provides a framework for risk management, which typically involves identifying particular events or circumstances relevant to the organization's objectives (risks and opportunities), assessing them in terms of likelihood and magnitude of impact, determining a response strategy, and monitoring progress.

This role will:
  • Assist our clients with identifying and proactively addressing risks and opportunities, business enterprises that protect and create value for their stakeholders, including employees, and customers overall.
  • Responsible for providing Enterprise risk management (ERM) methods and processes to help organizations manage risks and seize opportunities related to the achievement of their objectives.
  • Expected to develop and independently deliver frequent presentations to senior clients and executives.
In addition, this resource must possess the ability to design a risk-based approach to managing an enterprise, integrating concepts of internal control and strategic planning.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Ability to work in the United States and obtain and maintain-DoD secret clearance
  • BS from an accredited four year college or university (Finance, Accounting or business degree)
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience with a deep understanding of enterprise risk management processes across a broad spectrum of frameworks and methodologies
  • Minimum of 3 years in developing formal Risk Artifacts
  • Strong desire- certified in Risk Management
  • Exemplary communication skills both written and oral (to include negotiations) Demonstrated experience / knowledge of Risk Management Frameworks
  • Domain experience is a plus (Finance)
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Perform complex tasks methodically and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to draw relevant and meaningful conclusions from analysis conducted
  • Ability to elicit business, functional, technical requirements

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Project management experience, and or PMP certification
  • Experience authoring and delivering training Previous federal government engagement experience
  • Federal governance framework experience and applicable governance
  • Ability to leverage a broad range of Functional, Technical and Project management experiences to specify and provide a variety of solutions to clients
  • Strong governance experience and able to appropriately specify and tailor solutions as appropriate
  • Ability to identify and lead business development opportunities.
  • Ability to innovative and creative solutions and able to negotiate mutual agreements
  • Strong business written and oral communication (e.g., documents, presentations, process maps etc.
  • Ability to lead stakeholders through scenarios to identify and validate courses of action
  • Prepare for and facilitate client meetings as needed or required
  • Participate in and contribute to project management support activities
