As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
  • Overview

    This position will have primary accountability for leading a technology organization through the transformation to an Agile development and delivery methodology while supporting and delivering business process management and workflow solutions for complex Operational processes for numerous lines of businesses. This will be a highly visible role collaborating with business leaders to develop strategy, drive technology decisions and provide leadership for building scaled solutions across the Payments, Virtual Services and Innovation (PVSI) Operations and other Enterprise lines of business.

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and leading high performing technology engineering, development & production support teams
  • Leading existing technology organization through transformation to leverage Agile methodology for solution delivery. Insuring the technology team has the appropriate agile skills and makeup to be successful while collaborating with business partners through similar transformation.
  • Driving cross-functional change needed to successfully transition to Agile methodology
  • Partnering with the PVSI Operations lines of business to build and deliver solutions to streamline and automate complex business process workflow while delivering capability that creates a seamless end-to-end experience for Wells Fargo customers.
  • Leading technology teams to deliver business-sponsored development projects; working with key business partners to understand needs and deliver on business objectives; managing and allocating appropriate people and financial resources to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and align with strategic objectives.
  • Developing strategic direction for business process management and workflow capabilities and solutions while designing and building a consistent technical framework with reusable platform and services that can be leveraged across lines of business
  • Communicating with business and technology executives and sponsors on strategy, project status, needs and opportunities
  • Building and maintaining ongoing relationships/partnerships with business leaders and across Enterprise technology leaders and Enterprise Teams
  • Partnering with business and technology teams to drive and sustain platform optimization, processes, and governance
  • Driving technology decisions in the best interest of all constituent groups
  • Required Qualifications

    12+ years of application development and implementation experience5+ years of management experience in technology5+ years of budget management experience

    Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience managing a line technology function, such as Systems Development/Application Development/Platform Management in areas for high-availability systems
  • Track record of Execution & Delivery Leadership of complex projects, multi-dependencies across projects, technologies and diverse technology and business teams
  • Proven ability to create and articulate technology strategy and clearly articulate the target state, including execution roadmap, costs, benefits, and risks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of transforming an organization to deliver solutions leveraging an Agile methodology
  • Proven experience leading Agile transformational efforts in a distributed environment
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing workflow solutions for business partners
  • Knowledge of and experience with workflow, case management, business process management (BPM) solutions, tools and vendor products
  • Outstanding communicator, collaborator, and relationship builder with strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build consensus, drive out ambiguity, and define achievable tasks, measuring progress and focusing teams on practical delivery.
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • Experience in domestic, near shore and off-shore staffing growth and management
