Technical Expert - Enterprise Content Management


As a Enterprise Content Management Technical Expert, you are responsible for defining standards within the Document Generation, Scanning, and Archiving platforms under the Enterprise Content Management domain. You are an orchestrator between various stakeholders, including suppliers, IT teams, management and architects in an agile environment. You are involved in current and future state definitions of your domain and provide input for the Business Information Plan.

As an ECM Technical expert, your objective is to facilitate the delivery of solutions within the disciplines under the ECM domain. This covers both the application development and maintenance aspect of solution delivery where in you may be required to; architect, construct and ultimately maintain the solution.


  • Support projects in utilizing services in your domain
  • Define and refine the services in the ECM domain platforms.
  • Liaise with product vendors regarding product roadmaps and operational topics
  • Liaise with sourcing vendors regarding delivery of outsourced (managed) services.
  • Define and refine architectural standards and guidelines for the ECM domain platforms.
  • Support requests for architectural exceptions, in alignment with Lead Architect.
  • Create and maintain roadmap, based on alignment with lead architects, platform users, market research and management direction.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and guidelines and perform QA assessments.
  • Support management in creation of Business Information Plan, aligned with architectural roadmap for the services you support
  • Technical escalation points for Application Maintenance provider, provide 4th level support
  • Monitor, analyses and manage usage. Perform platform capacity management.
  • Be a backup TE for one or more of the other enterprise platforms

  • Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral) to interact with all levels of technology and business partners.
  • Working knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET, Java, SQL, VB Script, HTML5, CSS, Web Services and XML, XML Spy, JSON.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Linux, AIX
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and DB2
  • 3-5 years development experience with the Kofax Intelligent Text Processing (ITP),
  • Kofax CCM Certification a huge plus,
  • 3-5 years configuration/setup and maintenance experience with ECM repositories; IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition, IBM Content Manager Ondemand (CMOD), IBM Content Navigator (ICN)
  • Experience developing and configuring Web Services to customize ECM solutions.
  • 3-5 years configuration/setup and maintenance experience with Kofax Capture, KCNS, KTM, Kofax Capture Import Connector (KCIC), Kofax Mobile
  • Able to analyze complex technology issues and collaborate with other technical experts
  • Experienced in working closely with software vendors
  • Team player, able to work in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Strong proven development background.
  • Experience in one or more of the following ALM tools:

    • VSTS
    • Jira
    • SVN
