Corporate Risk

Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk areas including credit risk, operational risk, market risk, strategic risk, and compliance risk. Corporate Risk strives to ensure that all Wells Fargo corporate functions and lines of business soundly manage risk, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and offer products and services that meet the needs of our customers. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, Corporate Risk provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Enterprise Information Security

Enterprise Information Security (EIS) is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization.

in accordance with our risk appetite. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects our infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws.

The Position

This newly created role will serve as a senior executive leader in Enterprise Information Security (EIS). The incumbent will lead world-class teams that drive breakthrough business results using cutting edge technologies and provide a successful cloud security transformation.

The Candidate

  • A successful candidate will provide security leadership for a small team to deliver a cloud security transformation at a Fortune 500 company
  • Create a forward thinking Cloud Security strategic vision and direction, collaborate closely with existing Security leaders, lead cross-enterprise initiatives, influence and communicate with senior C-level executive leadership, drive core deliverables, inspire /transform and challenge new thinking
  • Experience in a variety of projects involving IT strategy, distributed architecture implementation, and hybrid Cloud operations
  • Experience helping CISO/CIO/CTOs in Fortune 100 Global Customers to develop their Security needs related to their enterprise Cloud Strategy

Position Responsibilities

  • Expertise in understanding business impacts of technology decisions as they relate to cloud adoption and specifically cloud security and be that change agent
  • Development of Cloud Transformation Roadmaps in partnership with Enterprise Information Technology and Lines of Businesses
  • Routinely engages with SVP, CISO, and other c-level executives, both internally and externally
  • Present compelling presentations and conduct persuasive conversation focused on Cloud transformation and security
  • Combine the competencies of strategic consulting, Organizational Change Management, and project/program management to drive for results
  • Provides leadership/guidance to cross-functional project teams
  • Partner closely with the Line of Business leaders to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with business, enterprise and Enterprise Information Technology priorities to help drive adoption of Cloud Security Services and solutions
  • Provide perspective and guidance on long-term architecture/technology strategy, investments and innovation drawing upon depth and breadth of knowledge
  • Educate Security leaders and teams on best practices and trends in cloud security and technology
  • Lead discovery workshops to understand and help develop architecture and service capabilities, requirements, and problem statements for our businesses and technology organization
  • Facilitate executive workshops, and represent Wells Fargo at executive forums
  • Present at conferences, summits and Customer venues as a Cloud thought leader and strategic executive - Cloud Security advisor. Identify, lead and contribute to the creation of best practices, white papers, workshops, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 + years of experience supporting or designing high priority enterprise technology solutions
  • 7+ years of management experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of management experience in technology
  • Expertise leading successful security initiatives in the cloud
  • Understanding of how traditional Fortune 100 companies must modify/adapt to take on large-scale transformation effort
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external stakeholders
  • Expertise in understanding business impacts of technology decisions as they relate to cloud adoption and specifically cloud security. Be a change agent on Cloud Transformation and security
  • Experience in a variety of projects involving IT strategy, distributed architecture implementation, and hybrid Cloud operations
  • Experience with cost engineering Cloud environments to ensure Customers operating at the lowest cost per Customer footprint with integrated continuous cost improvement
  • Proven experience migrating production enterprise applications to Public and Private Cloud
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Development, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Integration and Micro-Services
  • Experience with providing strategic, consultative services in a professional services environment
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills within a complex, matrix environment; able to gain support and cooperation and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members to achieve results without direct organizational control
  • Demonstrated experience in managing strategic planning processes, initiatives and teams thinking about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Experience developing and maintain working relationships with a wide array of people and to effectively lead teams with limited supervision
  • Strong communications skills (both written and oral) and the ability to convey complex information and ideas both simply and clearly; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Strong executive presence, the ability to interact and communicate with C-level executives.
  • Outstanding Customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills
  • A high level of comfort working with ambiguity or uncertainty and converting information into quantifiable concepts
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with ITSM processes and ITIL, along with integration experience of Cloud solutions and services with enterprise IT Service Management systems and processes
  • Experience designing comprehensive enterprise solutions based on Cloud reference architectures
  • Masters degree preferred in Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Engineering, or math
  • Ability to travel
