eCommerce Solutions Director

Our client located in Atlanta, GA is seeking an eCommerce Solution Director to join their company. The ideal candidate who joins this team will be a full-stack player who works diligently with business partners, engineering, SMEs, and Sales and marketing leads to craft industry-best offerings that will be sold to retailers and brands across the globe.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of the overall product strategy and roadmap.
  • Plan and manage multiple technical and eCommerce / web product backlogs.
  • Work cross-functionally with account management, Sales, and Service team to provide Marketplace subject-matte-expertise and help nurture and grow relationships with our broker partners.
  • Coordinate with Software business partners in mapping out the solutions.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing 3 rd party eCommerce opportunities.
  • Leverage first and third-party research to understand competitive SWOT.
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product and work with marketing to convert that into a full GTM.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills. Must possess the ability to be comfortable with speaking and be an excellent demo host.
  • Train the sales force at twice yearly sales meetings.
  • Act as a lead spokesperson for press and analysts.
  • Work with sales to get customer feedback and develop sales tools and collateral.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,
  • 8+ years of experience in launching and implementing a Market Place, eCommerce and/ or Fulfillment systems.
  • A background in core eCommerce technology and/ or operations (i.e. Fulfillment, Payments, Tax, Fraud, Customer Care, or Order Management Solutions)
  • Experience with Robotic Goods to Person (GTP) or an Automated Fulfilment implementation an advantage.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and creativity in product development and execution with limited resources.
  • Ability to effectively sell the roadmap to key stakeholders and senior leadership team members to gain consensus and secure funding.
  • Familiar with a wide range of tools and technologies, extensive experience building roadmaps and measuring outcomes.
  • Experience with industry leading Order Management, ERP and Warehouse Management Solutions is an added advantage.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and desire to success. Must be computer/tech-savvy and have an interested in learning new technology.
  • Must have a proven track record of a "Can-Do" attitude and are results orientated.
  • Be willing to challenge status quo, be assertive, and drive change.
