We are seeking a professional individual with 2 years of current truck driving experience, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn through on the job training to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Delivery Duties:

  • Operate 16-24ft Ricoh box truck (automatic or manual transmission) in accordance with DOT regulations as well as company safety policies and procedures
  • Deliver, pick-up and relocate equipment at customer locations
  • Conduct basic installation of equipment and provide basic key operation training at customer location as needed
  • Ensure equipment is configured to the Bill of Lading, is properly loaded, secured, and safely delivered to the correct location
  • Provide excellent customer service, both on the phone and in-person
  • Maintain a professional appearance while conducting oneself as the public image of Ricoh at all times
  • Operation and use of warehouse equipment (forklift, stair climber, pallet jack, as required)

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain electronic log books and upkeep of vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Ensure all signatures and approvals are obtained and processed
  • Accurate record and time keeping in accordance with company policies
  • Responsible for pre and post trip inspections
  • Follows all accident/incident reporting guidelines and procedures
  • Meet appropriate productivity/quality standards
  • Participation in safety programs
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation when required

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Required:
  • Safe driving record and history
  • Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle according to FMCSR regulations
  • Must maintain valid driver's license in accordance with company policy
  • Minimum two years of medium-duty truck driving experience
  • Pass a road test
  • Valid and current medical card is required
  • Be at least 20 years of age, properly licensed in his or her current state of residence
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Valid commercial driver's license is required if applicable per state
  • Ability to read maps and electronic GPS
  • Overnight stays may be required based on DOT regulations or Peak Periods
