Job Description

The candidate for this position would identify, assesses and solve complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position would closely follow the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals, although having some latitude in decision-making. Candidate would determine methods and procedures on new assignments taking in consideration the diverse integration points with other systems and Documentum components - decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility. Additionally,position would provide technical leadership to the onshore and offshore teams composed of 10 softwareengineers in the program development, testing, and implementation process

* Primary duties involve implementing the Documentum development requirements for the Investment Banking and Capital Markets, analyzing the requirements, participate and lead design & development sessions across teams. Duties also include hands-on programming, making design and architecture decisions from a delivery standpoint, build mock-ups and demonstrate them to the business users and others on the technology team. Support and maintenance of existing system, mentoring and on-boarding of new resources is also a required job function.

* Works directly with IBCM business users and business support with limited or no supervision, and co-ordinates with various teams in software development and delivery. Provide on-going support andmaintenance on a daily basis and help trouble-shoot production issues and participates in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) related activities. * Effectively co-ordinate development team releases with the BA (Business Analyst), QA, release manager, and technology managers. * Support technology managers on assessing and supporting all of the risks associated with Enterprise wide security requirements in alignment with LOB objectivities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 1+ year of capital markets experience
  • 1+ year of Oracle experience
  • 5+ years of Java experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 1+ year of Tomcat development or implementation experience
  • 1+ year of offshore application development process experience
  • 5+ years of Documentum administration experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Documentum Content Management, D2, Docbase Security, Documentum Workflows ,
  • Groups, Roles and ACLs, DFC, DFS, DQL, Jobs Management
  • Knowledge of ADTS & xPlore
  • Experience on integration with COSI Insight application
  • Experience with Documentum Artifacts Deployments
  • Experience on Leading projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment composed of onshore and offshore groups
  • Proficiency with JAVA Hands-on application writing and supporting J2EE, Oracle, TOMCAT, SQL Server
  • Experience designing/implementing information security controls access management, encryption, DLP, log analysis
  • Experience with Banking/Finance specifically Capital Markets
  • Ability to design and implement highly scalable and fault-tolerant software systems, familiarity with various networking and infrastructure aspects.
  • Proven experience working with complex data structures and performance tuning activities.
  • Hands on experience with Troubleshooting and Debugging
  • Experience with SDLC Methodology
