Job Summary

 

Responsible for providing oversight for and ensuring the integrity of the Company's internal and outsourced technology and security architecture domains, globally. Direct the use and oversight for domestic and international information technology, the interaction between technologies and securing those assets. Engage with business partners to understand current and future technology needs; ensure the availabilty of reliable infrastructure technology to continously support business objectives.

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for leading IT Infrastructure planning, deployment, support, and project deliveries.
  • Oversee the IT Infrastructure strategy and operations; ensure costs are managed appropriate as well as performance and end-user satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership in the planning, execution, and management of IT Infrastructure systems adminstration, security, adminstration, and escalated PC/ desktop support services.
  • Ensure deployed technology and IT Infrastructure solutions align with Company objectives.
  • Analyze IT Infrastructure requirements to meet business needs; Confer with end users and IT subject matter experts to identify, develop, and implement appropriate and reliable solutions.
  • Direct the technical support for all data security and recovery, computer systems, networks, storage, servers, and PC related activites.
  • Collaborate and partner with internal IT departments to provide effective and efficient user support and solutions to technology problems.
  • Responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of audit compliance requirements with respect to IT Infrastructure security configuration (s) and support practices; partner with internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure IT Infrastructure is in compliance with company IT policies, as well as all applicable audit frameworks (PCI, etc).
  • Manage the IT Infrastructure hardware/software capacity requirements for the Company; develop, forecast, and manage capacity needs to meet currebt technology and application requirements; continously evaluate capacity growth needs and deploy appropriate technology to meet future needs.
  • Ensure appropriate capacity is maintained or planned for to meet business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain mobile computing and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies and procedures.
  • Manage the procurement and lease the IT Infrastructure hardware; negotiate and maintain agreements in compliance with Company policies and procedures; thoroughly evaluate request and determine necessity and feasibility.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the IT Infrastructure budget, ensure expenses are appropriately managed and spending is continously monitored.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with team members and executives within and outside the IT Department; develop and foster effective business partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial and professional business relationships with current and prospective third-party vendors.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and understanding of current trends and standards of practice within the IT Infrastructure
  • Oversee the activites of the assigned team. Provide leadership, coaching, direction, and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the established policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, or directing work, appraising performance, discipling team members and resolving problems. Work with Human Resources to resolve more complex team member- related issues.
  • Maintain and promote a strong service oriented culture within the team

Requirements

Qualification Requirements

 

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Adminstration, or a related field of study.

Minimum Work Experience:

Eight (8) years of progressive IT Infrastructure experience of which at least three (3) years must be leading technical team and/or projects.

License(s)/Certification(s):

None

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Strong knowledge of network and server hardware, data storage and transfer software.
  • Knowlede of and proficiency using Microsoft Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, UCS, and VMWare.
  • Knowledge of data storage and transfer standards of practice.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements impacting the storage and transfer of data (i.e., Sarbanes-Oxley and Payment Card Industry)
  • Knowledge of Cisco Networking and cloud based technology.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to effectively guide the work of a diverse and global team.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex problems to identify solutions.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to maintain complex information in a logical and easily understandable manner.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with persons of various personality types within and outside the Company.

  • Abitlity to work non-traditional hours when deemed necessary to meet Company objectives.
  • Ability to travel both within and outside the continental United States.
  • Abiltity to understand Information Technology acumen.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
