Description

Reporting into VP of FP&A, you will play a key role in company’s annual strategic planning and budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. You will also be responsible for the development, measurement, and reporting of company key financial and operational performance indicators and business intelligences. Working directly with both the executive team and key stakeholders you will produce actionable insights and enable data-driven financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly and quarterly financial analysis and reporting activities of the corporate FP&A team
  • Support annual budgeting and long term strategic planning activities
  • Identify, scope, propose, and manage the reporting and interpretation of data to support financial decision-making
  • Work with current and potential investors on M&A and capital funding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the key financial drivers and opportunities within the business
  • Present actionable analyses and recommendations to executives to drive financial/business decisions
  • Partner with business owners to develop, measure, and report key financial and operational performance indicators
  • Work closely with system team to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the company-wide data warehouse and business intelligence roadmap
  • Partner with the systems team to implement and improve financial planning and reporting system
  • Analyze market trends to find opportunities for expansion or for acquiring other companies
  • Manage a high performing team of FP&A analysts/managers

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years work experience in a relevant field, within a fast paced, data driven environment and with minimal supervision
  • Experience supporting monthly and quarterly financial close and presenting analyses and recommendations to executives to drive financial/business decisions
  • Experience supporting annual budgeting and long term strategic planning activities
  • Experience working on M&A and additional investment due diligence.
  • Ability to fully understand business goals and metrics and translate requirements into actionable analysis and turn data into insight
  • Ability to think creatively and prioritize
  • Detail-oriented and results driven with a passion for producing high-quality deliverables
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, with experiences building complex end to end Excel models & data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms. Past experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Experience managing a high performing FP&A team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • BA/BS required; MBA or Equivalent is preferred
