Role Value Proposition: 

The incumbent will build and manage the strategic portfolio function for Application Development. Defines and develops enterprise wide management practices, governance standards, processes and metrics. Establishes, implements, maintains and monitors processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices as it relates to portfolio financials for all US AD and Digital teams, including US AD, Corporate Systems, Digital Office, and Investments to improve planning, speed of delivery, and drive cost saving with project and program execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall value of US AD and Digital Project portfolio, leading the portfolio financials team in the US leveraging standard methodologies, tools and policies to standardize and simplify globally
  • Portfolio financial execution of ~$650M of IT spend including milestones, issues, risk/change management and creation of Senior Executive level portfolio status reporting
  • Actively works with IT Business Relationship Management and Business Partners on evaluation of incoming project demand. Ongoing project resource availability and establishment of timing of project/program financial giveback
  • Oversee (PAR) business case review of project/programs and align prioritization
  • Lead Portfolio Management reviews for individual Business Portfolios
  • Oversee resource planning, capacity planning and demand planning across all of US AD and Digital
  • Develop and execute a portfolio change control, risk management and communications strategy
  • Coordinate and collaborate by partnering across Business areas, Global Technology and Operations and in region as needed.
  • Communicate and make recommendations to the IT leaders, peers within Planning and Strategic Governance functions and with other Corporate areas as needed.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


  • 5 or more years’ experience as financial or portfolio analyst; 5+ years managing people
  • 10 or more years’ experience in IT organization
  • Demonstrable expertise with MS Office and Enterprise Portfolio/Program Management tools (Clarity experience preferred)
  • Portfolio Management experience and/or certification desired


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, MBA / master’s added bonus
  • Relevant industry training/certifications, PMP, Agile/Scrum, CSM, etc
