Job Description

This is a Senior Systems Engineer position in the Salesforce CRM development group, currently supporting WFR(Wells Fargo RAILS) and WFEF(Wells Fargo Equipment Finance) line of businesses. This position will play a key/lead role in building the next generation of SalesForce CRM application to cater the needs of multiple lines of businesses. The candidate will be responsible for design, development & testing of application.

The ideal candidate will serve as the technical consultant to business and technical management to ensure conformity with Enterprise Architecture and Development, having expertise across a broad portion of the organizational unit's architecture, or in-depth expertise within a more specific portion of the architecture/technology.

  • Analyzes, designs and builds component-based applications in a multi-tier, service oriented environment while adhering to modeling techniques, component and object-oriented design and systematic approaches to application development.
  • Collaborating extensively with peers, Business Analysts, Operations Staff and Development to resolve client issues while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of our team.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of a long term strategy, roadmap with internal business units, enterprise architects, project management teams and vendor partners.
  • As Tech Lead, drive business & technical projects.
  • Proactively collaborate with the project managers to identify key platform impacts, integration risks, risk mitigations, create & review technical deliverables during the entire project life cycle.
  • Supporting end to end SDLC Process Management, Governance & Issue resolution for all services components and integration capabilities moving through environments to Production.
  • Create relevant SDLC deliverables as part of standard project implementations (architecture & design documents, deployment diagrams etc.) using tools like Visio, MS Word, Powerpoint etc.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to the team's production processes.
  • Mentor/Coach junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 10 + years of computer application development experience
  • 10+ years of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
  • 5+ years of experience in application automation and integration
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 5 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
  • 3+ years of Salesforce developer experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience leading projects that require integration of multiple technology systems to deliver new online functionality and user experience
  • Application production support experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of data mapping, mining, or modeling
  • Knowledge and understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years building Salesforce Applications including APEX and VisualForce development. VisualForce MVC development, developing Triggers and integrating into other internal systems.
  • Strong experience in SFDC development using Apex classes, Triggers, Visual Force, SOQL and SOSL using Force.com explorer
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce Security, Authentication and Authorization (Single-sign-on, Session based and OAuth2) and governor limits
  • Good knowledge of Force.com Migration tool
  • Experience in other Salesforce integration mechanisms such as Canvass API, Replication API, Web Mashups

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
