My client is looking for a desktop support technician for a first shift 3 month contract that could go longer. They must be able to do the following:

Skillset: network and deskside support

i. Desktops, Laptops, Servers support

ii. Troubleshoot light networking related issues

iii. Review/close backlog tickets

iv. Gathers and analyzes information about the user's issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem

v. Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and instructions.

vi. Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.

vii. Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.

viii. Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and business software

ix. Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function.

x. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and plant systems.


Paid OSHA training, 24 hr course, online, that must be completed.
