Desktop Engineering end user support. Candidate will support both production related issues and the R&R project effort simultaneously.


R&R project is a result of a scan/analysis of the desktop environment and found a variety of potential vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities will be corrected and there will be some workstations that require manual remediation or replacement. Candidates will be involved in performing the configuration changes/software installs, etc. on these machines to eliminate these potential vulnerabilities.


A Minimum of five years' experience supporting desktops at a top level (level 2 or 3) is required. Proficiency in Windows 7 required. Comprehensive understanding of how various technologies interact -- PC, Server, Network, Firewalls, Proxies, etc. Candidates will be interacting directly with the Financial Advisors and their staff, therefore strong customer service/soft skills required. Good verbal and written skills required. Previous experience in a large organization a plus. Candidate will be required to handle mutiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate will be a self-starter and a team player, engaging his/her team members and leadership as needed.


End User Support (EUS) is the Desktop Engineering Tier III Desktop Support group which is responsible for day to day support.


Day to Day (production) support involves troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of complex PC/LAN related issues, including but not limited to: hardware, software, operating systems and network problems. EUS supports all related hardware, software, applications or operating systems to meet client or project requirements and updates/writes documentation. Responds to complex questions from end users and provides assistance. Issues are typically escalated from the Helpdesk but can be routed from partner IT organizations as well as our VIP support team.


Position(s) open to either St. Louis, MO or Richmond, VA. Normal work shift will be M-F, 8a-5p.
