job summary:

Current State & Main Purpose:

As our company continues to work to streamline the New Hire process, the User Account Administration and Audit (UAA&A) team will take over the provisioning of application access. These users are being brought on board to provision users access to specified application using Active Directory (AD) security groups and/or application specific access processes, so the biggest preferences are for candidates that have (beyond general deskside services experience):

(1) Current & sufficient AD experience, for the adding of users to AD security groups.

(2) Can work out of the Service Now queue to reach out to appropriate approvers for permission to add users to security groups - which requires STRONG interpersonal skills & customer service.

Once they work through the project (and if time remains on their contract), positions would then transfer to work our normal Deskside Support Tech I duties, which include:

Troubleshooting and Resolution of Tier 1/2/3 escalated technical issues.

Maintain and manage workload through computerized issue tracking system.

Present a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout all interactions.

User Account Management.

Creation and termination of AD account across multiple domains

Creation and termination of Oracle accounts

Updating permissions of accounts through different security groups

Strong process knowledge

Very thorough on data management

qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required Education: High School Degree or equivalent AND 1-3 years of experience supporting networked systems.

Minimum Required Experience: 1+ years of supporting a corporate, networked computer environment.

Desirable Education/Experience:

2 years or 4-year Degree or vocational training equivalent in CS or MIS.

1-3 years of experience supporting desktop computers in a corporate environment.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

MCP, MSCE, A+ - desirable

JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES:

Strong Analytical Skills, Communication Skills & Time Management Skills Required.
