The Data Technology CLRTY data mart Application team is seeking a senior level technology professional to lead transformational data initiatives. This person will be responsible to partner with both business and technology leaders to understand business need, design effective data solutions, and communicate the vision and value add of new solutions to all stakeholders. The ideal candidate would demonstrate proven expertise in Credit Risk Data Strategy, keeping up to date on the risk & regulatory landscape. They would also have prior experience leading large scale data transformation efforts within this domain. Experience with large databases environments on Teradata, Oracle or SQL Server and complex ETL expertise is a plus.

The CLRTY data mart is used by the Enterprise Credit Risk Management team as the data source for all Home Lending portfolios, and is used to generate BASEL, CAR, CCAR and FR Y-14M regulatory reporting, as well as other business critical reporting and analytic needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases
  • Hands on technical expertise in large data environments like Teradata / Oracle / SQL Server and ETL tool experience similar to Ab Initio or Informatica
  • Have exposure to industry leading and building a Data Quality practice
  • Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction.
  • Provides mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of database design, administration and/or modeling activities. Leads complex projects.
  • Required Qualifications

    10+ years of database design and administration experience10+ years of MS SQL server experience7+ years of experience writing Microsoft SQL Server relational database queries, stored procedures ,query optimization and performance tuning7+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience5 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles 5+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts4+ years of credit risk experience

    Desired Qualifications

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA BS/BA degree or higher in information technologyAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentKnowledge and understanding of Big Data

    Other Desired Qualifications
  • Data management and data architecture leadership experience
  • Ability to determine priority of multiple deliverables, effectively multi task to achieve results
  • Direct technical staff and be a trusted advisor to peer group
  • ETL Tool experience (Ab Initio, SSIS, etc.)
  • Data Quality development experience (such as DQE or IDQ)
  • Exposure to CCAR, BASEL Modelling Development
  • Excellent data analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior programmers, partner groups, and other technical business groups
  • Proven experience with source control systems and process documentation
