Job Description

The Data Services Operational Consultant is a versatile and highly motivated individual whose responsibilities include acting as a liaisons between the Line of business partners and technical organization who have or are interested in intergrating with EIT Core services systems. In this role the team member will be responsible for planning and conducting discovery and negioations calls to understand business objectives and technical service requirements.

Our technology stack includes but is not limited to the following Oracle,TERADATA Datamarts, Informatica, SSIS, SSRS, MS SQL Server,SPARK jobs, .NET applications, NDM, AUTOSYS and several SQL management tools.

Responsibilities in this role include :
Act as a liason on the EIT Core Delivery Services team for partner and the technology groups onboarding services, and Operating level agreement negiotations.
Work with internal and partner business and technical groups to define integration requirements and translate them into actionable integration, access controls and SLA requirements in support of business initiatives and projects needs.
Maintain necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure Integration accuracy and integrity;
Act as internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for simplification and self service efficiencies.
Lead meetings with business and technical partners and their teams to communicate changes that system integrations and negiotaiate schedules and escalation procedures.
Provide project leadership in leading discovery meetings, daily Scrums, training and implementation planning.
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
Create, measure, and maintain Operating Level Agreements and Service Level Agreements
Administration of business continuity LDRPS plans, including coordination of simulation events
Act as the liaison to the Audit and compliance teams.
ITIL/ITSM foundation certification is a plus


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
  • Proven ability to take the initiative and lead for results, simplification and
  • Creating, measuring, and maintaining Operating Level Agreements and Service Level Agreements
  • Providing actionable metrics to internal teams, as well as business partners on availability, safety/soundness and capacity
  • 3+ years experience working on multiple projects that include multiple teams and relationship management with a technology and client organization.
