Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers financial needs.

Enterprise Data Remediation (EDR) team members are an important part of the overall data management framework. EDR provides support to First Line of Defense (Line of Business and functional support teams) partners responding to governmental, legal, and other urgent demand to design and implement solutions for collecting, managing, and consuming data.

The EDR team provides four key functions to support the Enterprise Data Remediation mission:

Support for Data Issue Prioritization Data Issue Triage & Disposition Data Issue Assessment & Solution Design Data Issue Remediation (Solution Implementation)

The Data Management Senior Consultant will report into the Loans, Deposits, and Payments (LDP) team within EDR.

The Data Management Sr Consultant will play a critical role in EDRs remediation programs.Initially this role will coordinate follow up activities across EDR related to Y14 remediation efforts.Longer term this role will transition into coordinating other high-priority remediation efforts within LDP.

Primary responsibilities within this role include:

Assist with Y14 remediation coordination.This may include the following: Prepping and presenting materials to various oversight committees and management groups. May include EDR Leadership, RBR, RDRC, RRROC, and others. Initiating and maintaining communication routines with all teams engaged in Y14 Remediation. Ensuring maintenance of centralized tracking for Y14 Remediation, leveraging JIRA and/or other tools. Includes ensuring tracking is routinely and accurately updated and covers ALL aspects of remediation activity. Providing credible challenge to remediation plans to ensure the right root causes are being addressed. Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with groups engaged in Y14 remediation.Includes EDR teams, RBR, BDLs, LOBs, enterprise programs like eONE, etc. Act as point of contact with BET for dashboard and other reporting for consumption by enterprise audiences. Assist with preparation of materials for reviews of the Y14 by internal and external audiences. Upon completion of the Y14 Remediation activity, transition to senior consultant role in LDP remediation projects.This may include the following: Leading in depth analysis and sizing of other medium and high priority data issues, understanding the impact of each issue to Risk and Regulatory reports. Driving the design of near term solutions where appropriate. Solutions may require solving for a combination of policy and process gaps, designing new tools/systems or enhancing existing tools or systems, enhancing or correcting reporting logic, modifying data feeds, and/or correcting or enhancing data controls. All while ensuring that near term and long term solutions satisfy both the needs and requirements of the Regulators, and the data needs and strategy of Wells Fargo. Driving the development of prototypes or proof-of-concepts as appropriate. Establishing and maintaining relationships with partners across line of business, data sponsors, enterprise data governance, technology, operations, risk, finance, and project teams leveraging the lending products data. Providing data analysis support to audit and regulatory agencies, as necessary. Producing ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary. Autonomously executing assessments or remediation plans as dictated by management, or collaborating with a team aligned against the same goals. Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis3+ years of banking industry experience

Other Desired Qualifications Experience with complex data quality programs, including identification and resolution of DQ issues Experience performing deep dive data, application, or data related business processes to define and document business requirements Experience driving design and process data solutions or enhancing data controls Track record of successfully managing deliverables, andexpert knowledge of data management and remediation concepts and practices Knowledge and understanding of risk and regulatory reports and/or requirements Experience interacting with financial services regulatory bodies (e.g. Federal Reserve, OCC) Experience producing Y14 Q/M reporting schedules at Wells Fargo or another complex financial institution Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results often based on limited information Demonstrated success in collaborating with business units to implement processes/procedures Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; ability to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change to achieve common goals Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders and personalities Experience providing leadership in projects across other peers and team members Demonstrated ability to build partnering relationships across the company at all levels (persuasive, good listener and assimilator of ideas and perspectives)Job Expectations
