Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the companys financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the companys shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Data Management & Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers financial needs.

Its an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargos Master & Reference Data team. The Master & Reference Data Consultant (DMC 3) will support ongoing collection and validation of reference data, investigation and remediation of data defects, and maintenance of reference data tools. The DMC3 Candidate will represent the Enterprise Reference Data BAU team as a business SME in data quality initiatives, technological solutions and improvements, and with Agile scrum development teams, with the potential to act as the Agile Product Owner. The Master & Reference Data Consultant will support policy and procedural reviews, process control development, performance measurement, and reporting. They will be expected to work with and provide mentoring to an offshore EGS team.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis5+ years of SQL or SAS experience

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship5+ years of data analysis experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScriptExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment

Other Desired Qualifications 3+ years of managing a development team Previous DMI Experience or Familiarity with the DMI Transformation Effort Familiarity with Informatica IDD and/or Collibra and Jira Knowledge and understanding of research and analysis Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Experience in defining & implementing common taxonomy across a large organization Exposure to data warehousing and technologies Experience in an Agile development environment, especially as Product Owner Ability to influence and create change Prior experience working with regulators (OCC, FED, FDIC) and Internal Audit
