Description:


Our financial services client is seeking a resourceful, focused and experienced individual to join our team as a Client Implementation and Support Analyst. The primary responsibility is to successfully support the client's application suite. The Client Implementation and Support Analyst works with the client support and implementation team to monitor and investigate issues with production applications, networks and evaluates and identifies operating issues within production, in addition to processing implementation requests submitted by internal or external parties during the mid to evening hours of operation. The successful candidate will have a track record of managing multiple assignments simultaneously, from general communication to complex technical issues, as well as processing client implementation requests while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities


1. Provide high quality first level support to our Americas client base during the mid day to evening hours.


2. Effectively diagnose and troubleshoot cases, searching for solutions and providing education and


3. resolution


4. Troubleshoot basic network and telecommunication connectivity issues


5. Monitor and troubleshoot daily evening OATS records submissions to external parties


6. Manage client questions and concerns by taking ownership from creation to completion


7. Ad-hoc support on implementations and configuration changes


8. Understand and evaluate end-users needs and develop creative technical solutions


9. Ensure client base is informed of issue status through resolution; escalate to the appropriate technology teams when necessary


10. Provide clear and concise verbal and written communications to clients


11. Seek, review, discuss, understand, and execute on client questions and concerns


12. Identify possible issues with systems and present opportunities for internal solutions or services


13. Effectively manage client expectations and resolve conflicts


14. Provide occasional after-hours support for Asian business


15. Adhere to Client Support policies and procedures


16. Support projects that evolve as a result of firm-wide initiatives


17. Create successful working relationships with internal departments


18. Liaise with Knowledge Center to ensure cohesive and accurate documentation


Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:



  • Must have experience with Unix, FIX, software configuration, Linux; shell scripting a plus
  • Possess minimum 2-4 years client support experience
  • Experience supporting Americas financial services infrastructure
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Solid working relationships with exchanges and vendors
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and trouble-shooting skills required
  • Basic knowledge of equities trading; Knowledge of options and futures a plus
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively diagnose and communicate to clients requirements and deliverables needed for successful resolution
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external clients
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong detail-orientation and excellent follow-up
  • BA/BS preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business or related degree
